The norms harmonized with the directive are stated in a proclamation of the President of the Polish Normalization Comitee from 19th December 2003, according the index of harmonized norms (Monitor Polski no. 7, 2004, pos. 117).

According the articles of individual protection certified by PRS, there come in use the norms harmonized for:

* articles of individual protection, preventing from drowning;

* clothing enabling staying at the water's surface;

* articles of individual protection for protecting the body from cold during sailing, fishing and surfing.

The norm PN-EN 395+AC:1998 accords life jackets and individual articles of assecuration.  The life jackets 100 N. PN-EN 395/A1: 2000. A modification of the Polish Norm (an A1 modification).
