The norms harmonized with the directive are stated in a proclamation of the President of the Polish Normalization Comitee from 19th December 2003, according the index of harmonized norms (Monitor Polski no. 7 2004, pos. 117).

According the articles of individual protection certified by PRS, there come in use the norms harmonized for:

* articles of individual protection, preventing from drowning;

* clothing enabling staying at the water's surface;

* articles of individual protection for protecting the body from cold during sailing, fishing and surfing.

EN 1095:1998 accords board harnesses and safety lines used on sport boats - the needs according safety and method of enquiries.
